A Blast from the Past

In a decade remembered as one of the music world's
brightest, Jackleg was one of the premier bands of the mid-
to late-80's. They toured non-stop spreading their
interpretation of rock-n-roll across the globe. Masquerading
as everyday college students, music store employees,
bartenders and other nondescript workers, they rocked as
hard as they played. After several incidents known only to
the band and their groupies, they were gone as quickly as
they appeared. Rumors that their tour bus was hijacked
somewhere south of the border or that they were in Canada
recording and touring under assumed names could never
be confirmed or disproven. Thus, their disappearance from
Jackleg an 80's cult sensation. The sound is hauntingly
familiar.
The rumors begin anew.
In an exclusive, six-month Dallas Obzerver investigation, it
has been confirmed that the "new" Jackleg members are
precisely the same ages as the originals would be today.
Though they're grayer and slightly heavier, this reporter can
only come to one conclusion: JACKLEG is BACK!!
